Yikes! What an effort here. This story flows pretty well despite all the action in it. My favorite scenario was the tomato soup. It was a great way to get this all started. Also loved the ending of half the world's population also being superhuman. Great job! Lynda

Lol. Yeah, now his super powers are just a norm. Thank you so much for the awesome review and huge sixer, Lynda. Only a true Superman lover would understand the first part with the frozen breath. Haha. I'm glad you liked this ridiculous piece. Thank you again.

Love this. It does feel like we're all super human and super heroes with the vaccine. Why wouldn't everyone want to be a superhero?! The hyperbole is great, and the gradual realization of the superhuman strength that comes with the vaccine. Well done!

Yours will definitely be the most exciting entry - so many extraordinary scenes of heroism overcoming deadly chaos in the neighbourhood - well, with at least an 18 mile radius. That woman was a loud screamer. Was she having sex and that is what frightened her cat into falling in the drain?

This is absolutely hysterical! I laughed the entire way through. Every sentence you were doing something different and toward the end you'd saved so many lives through different scenarios that it got to be too funny. But, I kept on laughing. Good luck with the contest.

Wow, thank you so much for the fantastic review and the giant sixer, Patty. I dearly appreciate the gracious stars and good luck wishes. I just had to overdue it. Lol. I'm glad you had a couple chuckles out of this silliness. Thank you again.

This is a really great entry. The casualness of the character makes it funnier, particularly the improvised cape. I apologize on the Contest getting delayed. As the only other contender, I decided to delay my entry to extend the contest, on the chance that more folks might join. Didn't think it would get bumped out two entire weeks, geez.

Just so you know, there seem to be internal line breaks that interfere with the natural word wrapping. I do exactly the same thing, often, when I use Notepad to write up entries very quickly. Guessing you might be doing something similar.

Yeah, I use Notepad to do my crap. Then I put it in Advanced Editor to get the font bigger. I went back and made the lines barely longer than the picture. Hopefully that took care of it.

Yes, it's nuts more people didn't jump on this one. It's just that these morons don't have enough imagination to come up with something other than what happens in every day, boring ass, real life. That and the simple fact that they're morons period. Lol

Thanks for the great review and for throwing the contest, friend. I had fun with it. That's all that matters in my book. Plus, love totally stealing an internet Superman pic and turning it into what I need. Lol. Have a good one.

Yeah I use notepad for its utter simplicity and uncluttered interface, but mainly because I have been running it from the command line since Windows 3.1, even though Wordpad is better in some ways but Notepad doesn't add curved quotes which do not get escaped in the basic editor. I no longer use the advanced editor here at all since the basic one gives me better technical control and keeps the HTML very clean. You might try out an app by the way called Notepad++. It is used by programmers who love the simplicity of notepad but need something a bit more robust. It should be free, too.

"After the Booster"
This contest entry was interesting in the superhero way.
I enjoyed it many different adventures and wondered about the outcomes?
...
One human being to be able to do those things would be incredible but impossible of course.
Nothing wrong with dreaming now and good luck in the contest.

Oh! This was fun. At last--something funny about Covid and shots! Your succession of experiences build well on each other. Strangely though, nothing like that happened to me with a Moderna vaccination!
