Foster is a cat, full of surprises: "Foster was being particularly pesky to his siblings." This is amusing. Just like kids: "Dilly and Dart looked at him to see how he received the scolding." My cat definitely pretends he's sleeping & can't hear me: "I've learned Foster has selective hearing." I sing to me cat so he stays there the whole time. "Sammy boy, he's my joy..." This was cute. I will do Ch 2 soon.

They are so entertaining besides being cuddly. They are so much like small children.

Chuckling as I am imagining this scene -At bedtime, everyone runs down the hall. Your cats do seem like little children, naughty sometimes, but then they look with those sweet little eyes. Good one Yvonne, enjoyed it.
cheers,

Yvonne,

My son has two cats and is forever telling us about their antics - some of them defy belief! They can open closed doors (like you mentioned) and are very picky about his company! hahaha

I enjoyed!

Don't ever doubt what he tells you. They are amazing. There's no limit to what they can do. Of course, some are smarter than others, just like people. Thanks, Robyn.

Hello Yvonne.

It sounds to me as though you could get rid of a TV and radio and all you would need to do is sit and watch the cats. They are taking themselves pretty seriously, but it appears that you find them quite entertaining. They do have a way of getting their way, and they have a pretty good way of doing it all the time.

They are very entertaining, no doubt. I do frequently stop everything and watch them. hahahaha

Hello Yvonne,
This was hilarious. We've had cat's in the past, but because my wife is allergic to them, I'm not sure why we did. They just kind of showed up and stayed on. It has something to do with feeding them I guess. So, you're cats are so spoiled that you had to get a clear shower curtain? What happens when you have to leave to go to the store or the doctor's office, surely you don't bring your entourage? I was laughing out loud at this. Such personalities huh? Well done my friend.
Have a blessed evening.
Tom

No, I don't take them, but they're waiting at the door when I return. Even going to take the garbage out is a separation for them. When I sit outside, their little noses are pressed to the window waiting for me to come inside.

This was great, damommy. Now of course, I love anything to do with animals, especially cats. I am so glad to know that Foster has selective hearing, I once had a cat that was very selective about her hearing and especially the word 'NO'. Ahaa I am not the only one who gets up at night to find the space is gone. Wow, that was neat to know about a clear shower curtain, I certainly do not have as many cats as you do but even with three it was a chore deciding who was on the other side of the curtain. I thought it was hilarious that one of them managed to open the bathroom door. This was great. Thank you so much.

Thank you for a wonderful review. I didn't set out to have so many cats, but they just kept coming. I felt God was sending them to me to take care of. Fortunately, my house is big enough that we're not crowded up.

That is definitely a good thought, Yvonne and you are so very welcome.

Thank you for sharing about your cats. I enjoyed reading. We used to have a cat, 'Whiskers'. She lived to be 21. Anyway, Whiskers enjoyed walking around the edge of the bathtub while we took a bath. I often wanted to but never did, knock her in the water. One time my son, Steven did. Steven's big mistake, he was still in the tub. Whiskers was fully armed and Steven had more than one scratch. I mentioned to him, the next time get out of the tub before you do it. He never did it again. LOL

Hahahaha. Poor boy. He learned his lesson. If I take a bath instead of a shower, they pat the water. I don't know why. I'm guessing to see if I'm really wet. I once had a cat who was grown when she came here, and lived with me another 19 years.

We were stationed in Germany and Whiskers came up 4 flights of stairs and decided to starve to death in front of our door. We took her in and she thrived. She was one very opinionated lady.

This is funny and it makes me want some cats in my life. I had them when I was young, but the animals in later life were all dogs. Maybe cats would be less trouble and more entertaining than dogs. My husband wasn't a cat person, but I'm alone now.

I've always had cats and dogs until the last few years. I never replaced my last dog when she died. The thing about cats is they are easy to take care of, no going in and out, and no daily heartworm medicine, just to name a few good points.

Selective hearing. I have been accused of that in the past. It actually has nothing to do with deafness and is more closely related to bloody-mindedness. Fancy Foster being prone to that. I like these well written accounts of life with Damommy. Keep them coming.

I love the names of your cats, so cute. They are very much part of your family and they sound like they are in charge of your house and leave you very little room to park yourself! An amusing write, much enjoyed, love Dolly x
