You paint such a lovely, peaceful picture of Nature doing its thing. Your poem makes me want to find such a place and spend some time there. A place to escape the hustle bustle of the life most of us live. Thank you for the beautiful poetic escape!

Hello Diana,
You've painted a wonderful, colorful picture with your words
that flow down the nonet form to make that nice v-shape.
Excellent imagery in each line, hard to beat nature's show.
That photograph looks like a great place to be too.
Well done.
Best wishes and good luck in the contest.

This is very descriptive and lovely. It sounds like a place I'd like to spend an afternoon, just watching. You have a wonderful window seat to nature. Thanks for sharing. :)

What a beautifully done Nonet. You described the scene so beautifully and lovingly that you made me simultaneously want to visit the scene, and keep my distance so as not to disturb the sanctity of nature. Good luck in the contest.

Interesting place. Nice combo of picture and poem. Not sure they would have RV parking, but I would like to drop by. Enjoyed it. Reminds me of places I have seen in my youth.

I really loved your poem. I could picture the scene clearly in my mind and it left a super, warm feeling. I felt that I was actually there lapping it all up in that one beautiful moment. Thank you.

Comment from Gloria ....
Such a gorgeous and vibrant presentation. And then not a wasted or unnecessary word in the entire poem.
I come away from reading this feeling happy, and filled with the glory of nature's show.
Wishing you great luck with the Contest Committee. :))

Although some of the nature it features has its habitat a bit south of where I live, I enjoyed this poem because I am a lifelong nature watcher who every year thrills to see painted turtles basking and blue herons fishing. Art Asylum paints a great picture with her examples of nature. (I think the final 'natures' should be 'nature's. And maybe 'Nature's', personifying the Goddess who is actually visible via her presences everywhere, unlike other more celebrated....metaphyical entities.

Such a descriptive Nonet! I read it a few times, and enjoyed the lovely glimpse into nature. My only suggestion might be to move the apostrophe on natures so that it is between the e and the s. I cannot imagine how natures can be plural in this context, but maybe I am mistaken. Anyway, I very much enjoyed your poem and hope it does well in this contest.
