Your lune contest entry reads well, Mystery Author. The picture is perfect. It illustrates your well chosen words well. Good job with the syllable count per line. Your poem is uplifting with the idea that even rain can't hide God's gift.
Best wishes in the contest.
Respectfully, Jan

Very nice Lune.
Yes, Florida is the only place I've seen where it can be pouring down raining and the sun be shinning as bright as can be.
I enjoyed your Lune and hope you do well in the competition.
Thanks for sharing.

A wonderful image to accompany a wonderful poem. The imagery is so strong and the correlation of hope and approaching rainbow is really beautiful. Well done!

Blessing...
Hope Emerges Through the Rain
Unknown author smiles to your lune
I picture a part of cloud and the sun peeking through the cloud along with the ( perfect image for your poem. Both the rain and the balmy sun are the divine gifts from God

Do like the overall imagery of your Lune verse and illustration. IMHO, your initial cap is unnecessary. I would also recommend you include some dash or squiggle after your middle line to set off your final thought. In my mind, it complements and contrasts with your first two lines.
You are lucky for this view, I have sun but current temps just above zero degrees Fahrenheit (-;
Good luck in the voting.

A great poem for the prompt. Thanks for the note about Del Rey Beach. The poem gets at the essence of blessings that come through the rainy times. Well done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for sharing this writing prompt entry with us. I enjoyed reading. Yes, rain does give us hope as it gives nature hope. Without rain we'd have a huge problem.

What an unusual picture, but perfect for your Lune poem. I wonder which came first? The words fit so well, and I do like it when we get a shower and sunshine together. Well done, and good luck in the contest! :)) Sandra xx

That happens quite frequently, here in Ireland, bright sunshine, but a passing cloud spilling its rain on a small area. I agree it looks quite heavenly, almost magical. Nicely expressed phenomenon. :-)
