I liked the simplicity of this, such the truth that sometimes, simple is key.
Imagery, as I would expect, yet...I am biased over your nonet I read before.
If I can be, in fact, allowed.
My very best.
Keep up the good work.
Best wishes.

I agree with you... I think I got lazy on this one and much appreciate the beautiful truth... It completely helps me... I'm not at a skill level to see or instantly recognize when I drop the ball... You are helping all over the place. yours, RG xo

This is a lovely poem, and the illustration suits it perfectly, as does the title. I love to see sun shining through the rain. It reminds me that even in the rains of life, there is sunshine.

Hard rain spilling down...
They whoever they are claim everything that has a beginning has an end. I wonder if that's true with this line?
Balmy sun... Yes, getting balmier
Divine gifts given...that one's still up in the air.
Interesting poem regardless of the perspective.

Special gifts are given to us by our creator. Many never recognize it. They must first receive a springling from on high before that happens. Well done.

Hello, Artasylum ~
I love ays where the sun, determined and balmy, pushes rain's curtain aside to shine down on us. You captured these days in 13 simple syllables. Well done! I enjoyed your entry.
Blessings,
Deb

You've written an excellent lune poem in the 5-3-5 poem
for the contest with wonderful imagery/description
of the rainfall contrasting with a sunny day.
Excellent picture choice to match.
Nicely done.
Best wishes.

The beauty of this is how the sun peeks through the cloud, while the rain is still falling hard and fast. There is light behind every trying time. It's a beautiful picture and it fits the haiku perfectly.

Rain and sun... divine gifts for sure, and so beautifully symbolic of God's spiritual gifts as well. This inspired lune is a lovely poem and I enjoyed everything about it including the picture. Good luck in the contest.

Very nice. I can see it.
But I don't understand the possessive 'gift's'.
But I'm sure it's just me.
Good luck with the contest.
Best wishes.

This most definitely does sound like a nice day at the beach. Wonderful use of thirteen syllables that has given us a delightful lune to bask in the balmy sun with.
Wishing you great luck with the voters.
