One thing I've always known...when I see you've written a Cascade Poem I am certain I'm in for a treat! So many of these become clunky with the repetitiveness. Yours always drift as softly as a feather on a summer breeze.

I love the reflective tone of your Cascade poem! It made me imagine that cold, drizzly day when creatures are hiding. But it also brought life the rain and the "falling dew from leaden clouds." Beautifully done!

A lovely Cascade poem Yvonne about the drizzly rain, before the feeze. You create quite a visual in this poem as the little creatures seek shelter. Your cascading lines work well. A lovely poem. Cheers

Hello Yvonne,
I really enjoyed this poem. That and the picture reminds me of where I used to live in the rainforest. There is a certain beauty in the misty rain, and the quiet that it brings, tamping down the noise, it can really be quite peaceful. Well done gal.
Have a blessed day.

This was a wonderful cascade, damommy. The picture was perfect, it was dull, dark and dismal. I really enjoyed your poem because it was dull, dark and dismal, which was great.

You are so very welcome, Yvonne. Oh I believe you, I chose a misty day over sunshine.

This cascade poem, Skies Weep Misty Rain, has the right formatting and captures those days when the gray, wet, cold of a day sends critters for cover and drains people of humor.
