It's funny how we can harken back to some memory of childhood with such clarity. You have remembered, in detail, this childhood experience that really was a minor incident.

Thank you so much for your review and generous rating. It's funny but I did not intend to post this poem just yet, I didn't think it was ready for release but I forgot to check the preview, mode box before closing up the editing page! I tried to find a way to withdraw the post but couldn't do it. I feel like I stepped in it all over again! LOL!
Thanks anyway for the review however, it encouraged me to follow through on my idea of writing a series of poems about my childhood memories that I still think about today. Thank you for being a part of this happy accident turned happenstance.

Every little boy looks for the puddles. . .and that never changes. Even grown adult boys can be swayed when the temptation is present. A very cute story. Poor uncle, he had no idea he would be yelled at by your mom.
