Carol,

Oh, my stars. I had no idea where you were heading with this one! First one way, then another - that girl had me just as confused as this poor boy! I imagine that the sheriff-dad was really, really proud of his boy. Great story!

Ah, so she was caught out this time. She was already a known predator. Yes, some women can bee like that and it taint the rest who are genuinely in trouble, as nobody will believe them. He had a lucky escape. A well written story, Carol. Ulla:)))

It happens all the time, and even more often lately. But I guess it's payback for all those years when girls were afraid to speak up when they should have. I like how you made the dire straights end up a happy ending. Thanks for sharing.

Hello Begin Again, a happy Friday to you. Thank you for sharing that story with us. Not only was it well written but it kept you enthralled and had twists and turns, I guess it was a rollercoaster ride of a story, great job!

My favorite way to write... a rollercoaster. Probably because I never know myself where the story is headed until I finally arrive at our destination. LOL thank you for reading and enjoying. Have a great weekend.

You held my interest the entire way through, wondering what this girl would do next. The ending was a surprise. Thank goodness there was a recording of what they said to prove the boy hadn't done anything wrong. Well done!!

Whew!! No wonder his father warned him! It's good that all was recorded. You did a great job showing the mixed feelings of the narrator as well as the bizarre behavior of Eleanor to keep the reader in suspense. I like the twist at the end. Too many false rape charges have put innocent boys in jail. I know a kid who served a five year sentence because his girlfriend was 17 and he was 18. Her family was angry because he didn't marry her.

One question - I wasn't sure how to imagine this part:
She playfully wiggled them (her fingers? or her lips?)

Excellent writing. Good story.
(But where was the recording device?)
I've never heard them called window wipers before, but it works. I know what you were referring to. (windshield)
Good luck.

Wow - such an unexpected ending! You have crafted an excellent story, and, like him, we cannot see her game until the end. So glad it worked out for him - it could so easily have seen him as a victim of her evil conniving.
Well written, Carol!
