This is a timely and important reminder that this planet is meant to be shared with all creatures, big and small - it is not just for humans. Unfortunately, greed and selfishness prevail and these beautiful creatures are now endangered.

Hello June, Thanks for reading. Man is selfish and wants the lot. Animals come second. One day we will be going to the Zoo to see our beloved national symbols. Love, Kay xx

What an adorable picture the koala bear is, Aussie. The look on its face makes it easy to imagine hearing your well thought out words being said by it. What a shame, mankind is, and has, destroyed so much of the bear's habitat. Wish there was a way to end the building.
Best wishes in the contest.
Respectfully, Jan

Man is selfish and greedy, animals come last. The Koala is our national symbol. We will lose so many and the rest? Go see a Zoo. Already we are using refuge places to save them. Thanks for reading. No different to your bears in Eskimo land, raiding human garbage. Blessings, K xx

A beautiful photo, and a timely message, Kay. I hope people around the world will take note. We hold their future and that of so many others, and yet so many don't care enough to help. Best wishes for your entry.

Hi Wendy, Thanks for dropping by. I saw a doco on the Tassie devil, a man started a breeding place for them to stamp out the cancer from fighting. Now, they are not fighting, just thriving. Of course our Koalas suffer climidea, slowly we are finding answers. One day all will be zoo exhibits or stuffed. Hope I don't live to see it. Makes me angry that man doesn't give a s... we care but houses seem to come first. Thank you sweetie. Love, Kay xx

Well done for eight words or less, Aussie. This one line, along with the picture, does a good job of presenting the predicament that is facing the Koala.

Hi Paul, Thanks so much for reading. Man is killing our national symbol by razing the trees. So it is with other national wildlife. We do have organisations helping. Blessings, Kay xx

Image and wording are spot on. The koala faces extinction because of the seemingly never ending need for more housing and agricultural land. Are we indeed strong enough to save them? All the best for the contest.
Cheers

Hello new friend Barry. Thanks for reading. Man has a lot to answer for; Koala are our national symbol. Many other animals are endangered too. Small groups are fighting to save them. Blessings, K xx

Good on you Aussie. Unfortunately we need Governments to actually mean what they say not just say they will help.
Cheers

Man is putting himself first. But...organisations set up by caring people are working. For example, one man set up a breeding program for Tasmanian Devils on his property. They are not fighting and passing on the dreadful mouth cancer. Feisty and noisy they may be; all he has raised are cancer free. Bless him. Kay xx

Aussie that is an excellent example of the positive. Let us hope there will be enough positives to bring it home so to speak. Take care.
