Never truer words : That mistakes are life lessons. Hopefully we as a people learn from those lessons and we make fewer mistakes in life. That would be ideal.
Sometimes the dues paid are astronomical. But priceless if the lessons learn prove to make us better humans and more successful in this life. Thank you for igniting a thought process for me built around " Lessons Learned in the School of Life". All the best.

Good poem for the prompt. So often mistakes affect our self-esteem or make us afraid to try again. This poem is a nice reminder that mistakes are how we learn in life.

This is an excellent 5-7-5 poem for the contest
with a good message and reminder to all
that life has mistakes, but we hopefully learn from them
and become better people.
