I love this! I'm a bird lover and blue birds especially bring such magic--I just saw one this morning. I especially like the play on words "seedy joint."

I like the pun in the first line as a literal description of the feeder and a definition of a dive restaurant. Birds are vocal artistes. The seeds give them energy to sing.
