The sights and sounds of a thunderstorm makes me want to curl up with a good book and read to my heart's content. It also leaves the land smelling fresh and clean. Good luck with the contest.

Rainstorms with thunder and lightning scare me. I do admit they do have a certain charm when they are over and form a rainbow. I love the moving picture. Together they make a wonderful presentation.

The energy of a thunderstorm is contagious, and it is an exciting and powerful scene. You have described it well (although I find the flickering image a bit diffcult). Best wishes for your entry in the contest.

When the words are minimal add a few theatrics. This entry gave me chills. Storms are rather frightening to me. . .even when I'm safely at home, you just never know what Mother Nature has up her sleeve. Best of luck to you in the contest.

As someone who was once caught out in the open with several lightning bolts streaking to earth nearby, and the thunderclaps so deafening my ears were ringing for days afterwards, I am not one who shares that love! I run and hide with my cat when it happens these days.
