Hello Sherry,
I took you up on your invitation and read your winning entry. Well done. As much as I loved my dog, I could never let him sleep with me- at least not on the bed. He had a habit of sitting with me in my easy chair and would put his feet against the side until I was pushed way over and he had the vast majority of the space. When he was young, I used to have to pick him up like a baby and take him to his bed and lay him on it and cover him with a sleeping bag. He wouldn't move a muscle during the whole ordeal. He was so spoiled, that if I gave him cereal in the morning (which he insisted on) if I didn't pour milk on it he would just stare at me until he got it. You got to love em'.

LOL! Sounds like your baby was spoiled and loved. You are one of those wonderful pet parents that shelters and rescues wish we could find for all the dogs in our care.

Nice poem very cute. There are some dogs that are so sweet. I saw a neighbour's black lab he bought for 3000 dollars. He doesn't go anywhere without him. Your poem is so true. Good luck but l guess you already won. I never will. Good for you

Very cute pup, all grown up story. I used to baby-sit for people who had Great Dane and one of them thought he was a lap dog. He would come and sit on my lap every time I sat down. Fun story to read. Best of luck with this poem in the contest.
