I really, really enjoyed this chapter. You had me hooked. It was a serious topic BUT, it was also very humorous. I was laughing at parts (and felt bad), but it was very well written. I didn't pay too close of attention to the grammar or general build, but I just kind of took a second for myself to enjoy. I would be interested to see how you will be building on this story.

Becky, it's a compliment that you got hooked and stopped scanning for SPAG. Thank you! I have the bullet outline done and may try to fit this into my schedule this year. I'm having too much fun with it to drop it. And I'm glad you found the humor! I get a bit too obscure sometimes and folks miss it. lol

Thank you so much, Katherine. I appreciate the time you took to read and find SPAG, and the encouragement you gave on the novel. I have a line of them. lol. This one is in the que, but I'm not sure I'll get to it before December. Fear not -- I work on it all in spurts and the voice for this one is so much fun I don't think I'll forget it. :)
