Dogs are such wonderful creatures. I have several and each one is different and special. However, there are those that stand out. For me there is Papa. Papa was a stray that came into our lives and changed everything. When he passed I was given a print of his paw by the vet which I now have tattooed on my arm. Every time I look at it I smile.

Having owned 4 dogs and 12 cats over the years, I know exactly how you feel, they are all precious, all family members, all unique, but some standout, Buddy the last dog that passed, was the sweetest natured dog, loved by all, out of the cats, two stand out, but we adored them, all missed, all have their own place in memory and the heart. Most were strays, as if God knew we needed them. Beautifully written Ramona. Blessings Roy
