In case I did not say it earlier, I love this story. I love the way it is being told, the characters not only seem real and familiar, they seem like someone I actually know or would very much like to know. To me, that is powerful story telling.

I am enjoying the way this love story is going. I am concerned about the results of Katherines tests and how that might play into the story. Maybe we will know by the next chapter. This is still a favorite book for me because it feels so true to life.

It will be two posts before we find out about Katherine's tests. We need to get through the Homecoming dance first. LOL

Oh, Barbara,I so hope nothing is wrong with her. She won't confide in Gabriel but as he's not stupid he knows something is up. But Katherine is not giving in. Well, all we can do is to wait and see. A great chapter. Ulla:)))

Another good chapter, Barbara. Things are moving along nicely in the relationship between Gabriel and Katherine, and the boys. It will be interesting to see how the dance goes, and what the results of Katherine's biopsy will be.

Really good writing so far! I found the dialog to be particularly believable and flowed quite naturally!
My only comment is that there are a few time I was distracted by seeing the same unique word/phrase used more than once in close proximity.
For example, "shenanigans" it's a good word but used twice only a few paragraphs apart it looses it's punch.
Similarly in P26/27 the phrase "yelling at Bill" was used twice in sequential paragraphs.
Other than that I really enjoyed the chapter and look forward to reading more of your book!
