This poem resonated with me because I've been a book lover all of my life. I enjoy all types of books but prefer ones I can hold in my hand. Hope you do well in the contest.:)

I really enjoy reading this rhyming poem about the love of the books. I like you said: books need imagination and it will become your own creation. I love Dr. Seuss's books, Edgar Allan Poe's Raven poem. These are memorable books.

This was a pleasant poem about your love for books. I share that love. As you mentioned, a movie can provide entertainment, but a book offers so much more. After all, so many movies are based on books and we see what someone else envisions then. I sometimes look around the shelves of the library and lament the the fact that I can only read so many of them. Well done. Good luck in the contest.

Here here, I agree. I love book too. Movies leave do much out. Sometimes I'll read a book then someone decides to make it into a movie which probably was be well received by those that don't know the whole story. Thanks for sharing.
