Oh wow! Congratulations. Mine are 19 (in college) and 15 (high school.)
I've helped raise them all these years--such a blessing. Your 3--6--9
poem is warm and delightful.

Hi Janice. Thanks so much. I am still agog at the fact we have a little girl in the family... hubby and I had two sons.

Congratulations to your new granddaughter. Babies area such precious things. I hear that grand children are the best things that could happen to one. You inspired me to write one, too about a friend, maybe.

Well done.

Hello, Melissa, beautiful 3/6/9 for the contest. Good syllables count and connection between lines. I like the presentation and imagery.

Welcome to the grandmother club and congratulations! What a wonderful way to start the year!

Welcome to the most enjoyable group in life. You are blessed, and have put your new status to good use by writing such a delightful 3-6-9 poem. Between the repetitions of the first line, and the line-end rhymes I think you've nailed it.

Hello Kate!! Thanks so very much. I am glad you liked this... I was going for alliteration :).

You did a great job with your contest entry, Melissa. I enjoyed reading it. Congratulations on your new grand baby. Your poem is well written with great imagery and perfect sentiments. The picture pairs perfectly, too.
Best wishes in the contest.

Hi Jan... thanks so much. So glad you enjoyed this!! I wanted to try some alliteration... it was a struggle to get it to flow. Hugs!!

I was only talking about that this morning with my dear wife, there's nothing more appealing than the birth and first days of a new born, the excitement of unknown possibilities...wow! Beautifully written, good luck, blessings Roy
