When one wants to learn, I think the universe provides teachers. I've been writing nearly all my life and I still have much to learn. FanStory teems with excellent poets and writers so you're in the right place.

I found this site in its early days and have stayed with it off & on since 2004... Sometimes i've gone years off of the site and then get a bug to come back and visit my friends here... many of which I've know since early 2000's. Keep on writing kiddo.

I like the meaning and viewpoints behind this - I agree fan story definitely helps you to improve. I think you've chosen a good topic and you've used your 10 lines well.
