Perfect 5-7-5 for this photo! I guess every season has a melody to it... The idea of winter snow as whispered notes is appealing!
(I assume there is no need to shovel "notes")
Good luck in the contest!

Wish I'd thought of it myself! Alas, Vivaldi's "The Four Seasons" is just such a stunning work! I just YouTubed it as I'd not heard it in a long while!--K

The first two line of this poem flow and connect well. The last line says it all! I like the theme the author chose. Snowflakes and winter do
create a warm scene by a fireplace for me! The artwork is exceptional and compliments these words well.

I play piano (not so well!), but this one jumped out at me as awesome! While winter is my least favorite season, this is beautifully done for the small boundaries of a 5-7-5. In my imagination, I can see myself sitting down to that piano and just playing to "get attention". I love this. Very creatively put together. The overall effect is stunning!

"whispered snowflake notes
winter's piece in piano
welcomes ovation"
well done on this short poem, and great picture you have chosen. I like the words: "whispered snowflakes" and that even though they are silent, they bring music to our hearts.

I have only seen 'piano' used as a noun. This contest entry just educated me on a new way to use a word. Thank you. I enjoyed reading and your poem caused a beautiful image in this reviewers mind. Thank you, again. Good luck with the contest.

Thank you, Barbara. I only knew what it meant because I played clarinet in high school, lol. I am glad that you imagined beautiful things when reading this!

Hello Tina: I thank you for sharing your witty ditty. I like it in that it's brief, clear, and to the point. Your poetic piece here is interestingly subtle. With only three lines and nine words you played for me winter's grand piano concerto. Again. I thank you for your entertaining endeavor. It worked well in your favor for you. God bless you, Tina. Cordially: rhonnie69.

I like this 5-7-5 with its careful alliteration and allusion to the fact that winter can produce its own beauty as can a beautiful piece of music. Each can be worthy of its own applause. Best wishes for your entry.

Beautifully penned and illustrated poem in short verse 5-7-5, dear Tina. The scene makes me feel like I am missing out living in the tropics. Sending you my best today as always and best wishes for the upcoming contest,

Sorry, I am not from a snow area.
Why do they have a piano outside in the snow?
I see this is for the 5-7-5 contest. I hope you do well.
I think the poem and visual is good.
Good luck

I think it must be a sculpture, surely nobody would leave a Steinway baby grand out in the weather, you'd be tuning it all the time, a beautifully sculptured 5/7/5 entry in this contest, well done, blessings Roy
