Haha, I love your sense of humor! Mind you, I applaud your accomplishment! I remember being in second place for a week or two in the novel category. And then, everyone else checked in, lol! Still, there were a few moments of glory. You'll always be number one to me.

You know, the highest I finished was second in short stories a few years ago. The top writer later admitted on her website that she bought the top spot by continually using her own money to promote the work. She posted over 300 pieces as well compared to my 87 posts. I felt robbed.
I know the rankings are a game to most but I was gutted as I've never spent my own money to promote work and work hard to achieve anything. lol

I did finish 5th that one year I had two novels going. I was very ambitious back then, haha.

Nah, I did this at the start for a laugh so I could write this piece. I've some stories saved up from the last couple of years which I haven't posted so we'll se how it goes. My work keeps me busy at the minute. G
