I'm sure the yellow was removed after that. How fun this is; and children are so unabashedly honest. Sugar sweet, Tina dear!

Sending you my best today as always and best wishes for your writing endeavors,

Oh my!!!! What a delightful story and the narrative is well-crafted to move unflinchingly toward the gut-punch funny comment by the child in the end. Kids have that way, right? Telling the truth without a filter. Well done!!!!

Thank you! This means a lot. Sometimes it's a 'had to be there' story, but I am glad you got the punch line. Unflinchingly...bold and consistent...I like that word applied to my writing. Thank you again!

Very cute! Children do not hold back, do they? Sharing a personal memory in poetry is something your family can hang on to and pass on! This is a delightful one! Eye-catching AND humorous! Great Job!

You can trust children to tell the truth even when they are learning and here you captured an embarrassing moment of innocence Tina.

Just one suggestion for this line:

"Kellie learned her colors, but Nana (needed) proof."

Love Dolly x

Lol! That's funny. I think this is a fun children's poem or maybe a poem for grandmas who can understand the surprise of little ones about the smallest things.

Thank you for the idea! Maybe I could think of some other funny stories of things my kids said. Kids are so honest!
Hope you are doing well. Hugs!
By the way...Beware of the "flurona."
We have friends that had both Pfizer vaccines and the booster and still got the flu and the corona virus at the same time. They are going on three weeks of trying to get over it, at home, not in hospital, thank goodness.

Thanks for the warning about the "flurona" ! We just learned that our youngest granddaughter is positive for Covid. This could be a rough January!

Oh no! I will pray for her! I hope she doesn't get too bad of symptoms.

Thank you! She was vaccinated so I hope the symptoms will be minimal. I'm more concerned about my husband who was exposed while they were here.

I will pray now that God protects him. This virus is so hit-or-miss. I wish it was a color so we could see it in the air and avoid it!

I agree! Thank you for the prayers! 💖
