Janet,
This poem uses rain as a metaphor for tears of grief and what they mean in all the stages of grief. I also like how the rain cleanses you and allows faith become strong so you can finally accept loss and move on. The blooming rose is alson a metaphor for becoming free from grief and opening your heart again
Keep writing and stay healthy
Joan

Dear one, you must let that grief go with the wind. Though I have grief that lives inside me - set off too by simple occurrences. That is a part of being human...our cross to bear. I love the way you wrote each verse to a different emotional word...made it very special. Just fine work!

Your poem is very well written, describing how we think we have worked through our grief, only to have it triggered by some small thing like the falling rain. So thankful that in those moments, we can whisper a prayer to God, and He brings peace and comfort our heart.

Beautiful words for painful memories. The hurt seems fresh, but hope lies ahead.
The flow is nice, and the visual of the falling rain is clear.
Wishing you all the best at moving on.

I don't think grief ever leaves us and we have good days and bad days as our memories sometimes haunt and winter exacerbates grief. Your write is atmospheric and melancholy Janet, I could identify with your words here, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

You have given us a peek at the reason for your grief, and we feel your pain. When you set it aside this time, put it somewhere that it will be hard to find.

I am glad that your reawakened grief has settled with your writing .Sometimes what we thing as forgotten can raise its head...I liked the way you have incorporated different feelings to the rain. Finally you were able to find God's grace in that same rain...

Unlike God, we find it hard to put that grief behind us, but with God's help we can put the glow of life back into it. This is a super poem, with each stanza with an excellent related heading. I'm sorry that the weather relates to the sadness you feel Janet, well done, blessings Roy
