This is a good piece to enter the 33 Word Fiction writing prompt contest and best of wishes in the contest! I'm not crazy about the piece for this reason: It doesn't really make sense, it does but it doesn't and I would consider playing around with the words to help it make more sense. Otherwise I see where you were going with it;-)

A good picture of the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, by Michelangelo, shows the creation of Adam.
Would be great if God changed our world to be free of all viruses, including the COVID. Meantime, we have to deal with what we have, and our meager science strives to cope with, and fund preventions for, and cures for our afflictions.

The painting by Michelangelo from the murals of Sistine Chapel...I have been there and have seen it.
You are right .God has planned and released a virus and soon He will send a virus to make us disease free..Scientist may call it herd immunity.
