Twenty tomatoes for a twenty-syllable poem, very creative, good luck in the contest. The photo is excellent and is well matched to the poem. I do like tomatoes, and I have grown many of them. You expressed this idea in a very fun way. Good work.

Thanks Tina Crute~ for "Twenty Tomatoes" was a valuable discovery of ease and charm. I bet that the sweet juice of a tomato~ is like your personality. As where such poetic expressions are cherished~ in a room of art-some display.
(I had to do my math at another look. No biggie)
* What a cute take of an author's note~ a particular interest to share... a way to bring (all the way through) some entertainment for me.
yours,
Johnny

Hi Tina!
Best wishes for the New Year.
You created a most ingenious and unusual text format for this contest entry. Your tomatoes are just aligned perfectly. The color and rhyme scheme also add pizazz
to your overall presentation.
Good luck in the voting.

Tomatoes are great. They say they are bad for arthritis, though (lol). Great visuals and imagery, and I just love that artwork!
Very much enjoyed, good luck in the contest.

I love your entry for the contest. Great picture of the tomatoes and what a cute idea to write your poem about them, one word on a line, like the tomatoes on the vine.

Tina,
Oh, my! How silly you were! And look at those fifty years of all the amazing tomato sandwiches you missed out on - or sliced tomatoes with sausage gravy and biscuits - or, or, or... forever!
hahahaha I really liked this poem AND the unique format! Thank you!

I love tomatoes! But even if I didn't I'd like them anyway because just look at that picture! They are beautiful! You can almost taste the juice running down your chin as you pick one off the vine and bite in. My dad always had a large garden in the backyard. Half of it was tomatoes. We kept a set of salt and pepper shakers on a tree stump and would pick a tomato and eat it like an apple. Nice poem!

That is a beautiful memory! You should write about it! I can just see those shakers on a stump by the garden. What a warm feeling your story gives! Thank you for reviewing my poem. I do not expect to win anything. I use contests mostly to give myself deadlines and direction. Thank you so much Patty!(My sweet sister's name is Pattie, so I like your name!)

Clever ditty, but all that math got me. Beyond one, two, give me something to chew, I am lost! These are my favorite tomatoes and just bought some tonight. Just a mouthful of dainty wonder!! Love this and I have been a lifelong tomato devourer!

Tina, This is a very neat and very good 20 syllable poem about those juicy red tomatoes. I don't like them all the time, but on salads and sometimes on a sandwich they are good. Best wishes in the contest. love and blessings, Teri
