I absolutely love this. I was first drawn to the picture, I forgot I wasn't in FanArtStory, and when I checked it out first saw *to make an irreverent or sarcastic comment and was interested, then saw it was you.
Long story short, I really dig this one.

This is another of your excellent and meaningful poems I've gotten behind in my review because I have not felt my best lately. I hope I have a six left for you.

This is such an interesting form.
I quite agree with your poems message,
and also your notes.
We have so very much power, simply in
our words, and we are to use them to
bring people to Christ, not turn them
away.
A beautiful poem,
blessings...

' Powers so Dark ' , is an exceptionally well-written and spiritually-uplifting piece. It was a privilege to read and review a work of this standard. Sadly I never seem to have enough sixes. I'm looking forward to seeing your next post.

Hello Roy,
I wish I had a six left. Well done. It seems that daily, or probably more often, I need to be reminded about keeping my tongue civil. Like so many others, I want to lash out at those in control, forgetting that God put them in control to accomplish whatever He has planned. As hard as it is, we need to pray for those in charge, first because God said so, and also because nothing else will change them. Thanks so much for sharing this Roy.
Blessings.

An excellent poem which I agree with, although its hard not to blame the powers that be. We really need to keep our faith alive and hate out of our hearts. Thanks for sharing. :)

We're forewarned and ought to know to guard ourselves against dark powers...
Why, we ask, do so many horrid things continue to play themselves out as man's inhumanity to man???
It's free will. Snarkiness is a pandemic in these times, as much as any virus.
Evil persists.
"Ephesians 6:12-17: For we do not wrestle with flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against the wickedness of wickedness in the Heavenly places."
Amen! Thanks for sharing!

Powers so dark
Roy,
Your rhyming poem about darkness and light; Are you saying,
"Without darkness, how would you know how much to appreciate brighter days?

We are constantly being tested and need to realise that when we start to say or do something to hurt our fellow man. It's so easy to hurt with words, but so unnecessary. Physical pain soon dulls, hurtful words can't be taken back, even if we truly regret saying them. This is another wise, and wonderful poem, my friend. Well done. Love and hugs. Sandra xx
