I enjoyed reading about your New Year's Resolution. It sounds like you have a good game plan. You have some definite goals in mind. I'm told that identifying specific steps is very helpful when it comes to achieving goals. It sounds like you have this area covered. You do have a very gifted writing style. I looked up the two songs you mentioned and listened to them. Bill Anderson's song was funny and very relatable. Merle Haggard's song was relatable as well and thought-provoking. Best wishes!

I think this is the best way to start a new year-one day at a time. I myself am the caregiver to a family member with dementia, so I know how you feel. However, once you remain grounded on a spiritual level, the burden will be lightened somewhat.

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and understanding. One Day At A Time has always been one of my favorite songs. It is only recently that it's full meaning has been shown to me.
