I hope you aren't just recalling these days but are having a chance to participate in them too. The day after Christmas I hit my three-year-old nephew right in the face with his first snowball, brushed him off, and let him get me back. Your lovely poem captures the spirit of youthful snowball fights. Nice work.

We just got six inches of snow. Unfortunately, no grandkids around to enjoy it with. They are in Atlanta, GA. Thanks for the read and hope your nephew still loves you.

I enjoyed this Pleiades poem which takes me back to my childhood when my friends and I built snow forts and challenged other boys in the neighborhood to snowball fights. I especially like this image: Wobbly snow-suited kids with scarfs pulled tight. Rod
