Fiction, you say? I do this sort of thing every weekend, so I found this to be a very ho-hum story with a lot of excitable yelling involved. (What a loud family!)
Mind you, a few cans or bottles of liquid refreshment usually precedes my own adventure to Make-believe Mountain, and it is usually ME who eats the T-Rex, when I get the munchies. Those critters are rather delicious.

Hahaha. Yes, those T-rexes are delicious. I'll admit, a few shots of liquid muse got me rolling on this stupid piece. Haha Yeah, they're a loud bunch, that's for sure. I like loud. Thanks for your good wishes - I tend to ignore Christmas and embrtace being a hermit, but people keep dragging me out of my cage. I hope 2022 is a great year for you and that you will keep stirring the pot with your postings.

What a great family day! Totally wished I was a part of this family. Except for old Grandpa dying, it was a good day. I dare say a better day than all the dead grandpas (and other dead people) in this contest. There are many laughs here, from the hot tea and cocoa to the gold at the end of the rainbow paying for Grandpa's gobbled up unicycle.
Pic was hilarious and this is a very well written story. I wish you luck in this ridiculous contest. Extremely well done, Mr. Skulls. LS

Lol. Thank you, Lynda. Yeah, I figured since everyone else had someone dead in it, I might as well too. Haha. I had to be sure to leave out the gore though. Gore's a no no. I just tried to come up with the most ridiculous idea for a family contest entry I could. It seems no one wants to venture outside of what could happen in 'reality' for a fiction contest. So I went there. Lol. I dearly appreciate the big sixer and fantastic review, L. I'm glad you liked this silliness. Thank you again.

Even though this is a book for children, I still think that sometimes an action will occur without everybody doing it. People have personalities. I was also shocked that the loss of Grandpa caused so little grief; my guess is that he'll show up via some alien magic in an upcoming chapter.
The chapter moved quickly and brightly and I enjoyed it. Good luck.
