I enjoyed this story although the surprise demise of Grandpa came as a surprise. They didn't seem to mourn him very much either. I would enjoy the flying part but not the alien spaceship or Dinosaur World. Cute story though and I think kids would like it.

Thank you for the great review, Mary. This was just a ridiculous contest entry. I only had a limited number of words to use so I couldn't get much remorse for Grandpa in there. I'm glad you liked this silly piece.

Dinosaurs were loved and still are loved. Many young children like to watch the dinosaur's movies and books. They perhaps look a bit too scary, but they are only fictional.

Just watch you don't get disqualified re the demise of the grandfather (murder?). My last story was disqualified because it was a Christmas story about this Christmas. I wrote it on 22nd December about Christmas events leading up to it, but "you can't write about a Christmas which hasn't happened yet"!!! So maybe can you magically bring the grandfather back?
