Winter In The Forest
when even the wolves can't compete3 total reviews

The imagery in this entry is most vivid. Do like your phrasing/contrast for your last two lines - wolves-silent-howl. You sprinkled in some alliteration, which I always enjoy hidden within your poem.
p.s. methinks it is too late to fix, but I would have preferred lower case text for as and were and possibly (?) some punctuation after raged and howl.

Thank you. I'm so glad you like this. As for your suggested improvement, thank you for pointing it out and I will look into it after the contest.

It is winter, weather is so intense, extreme that the entire forest is frozen and even the wolf is silenced by its howl; state of weather is indescribable at every point of winter intensity; well said, well done; keep writing. ALCREATOR LITT DEAR

You have met this challenge beautifully. This verse encompasses all there is to a forest In winter in so few words. The power of the winter wind is explained so well comparing it to the howling of the wolf.
