"Today is born in Bethlehem
Emmanuel the King.
Arrayed in flesh, a saviour born
so may your praises ring."
Because He came, we have life, peace, and a hope for eternity.

Bro. Roy,
Excellent poem exalting our Savior. (I think 'ol Slew Foot does not like your poem a I seem to press the wrong keys and/or miss a key) But we don't care what IT don't like, we going to exalt Jesus any how. Have you ever noted the wording in Isa.7:14 "A 'child' is born, a 'Son' is given. The Babe born in a manger, came to die on a cross as the world's Savior.

God bless you my Brother and He give you and your family a blessed New Year -Bro. Jerry

Hi Roy,
I am in awe of your talent and what a wonderful spiritual poem you have told yet again.
The words and image are a perfect match and fine reminder to us all of the true meaning of Christmas and the amazing gift God gave to man.

This is such a beautiful retelling of the Christmas story, and beyond. You emphasize the reason for the Christ child to be born, so that God's plan of salvation could be carried out, in spite of "the master of deception." Thanks for this. Other than the title needing a capital letter on "donned" it seems flawless to me. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. MM

Wow! what a beautiful poem you have written here "He donned." I can resonate with it because as a Christian who has read The Bible it retells how things unfolded surrounding Jesus's birth and purpose pretty much in the same manner . "I especially love the ending where it says " the master of deception came to lay his cunning plan." "Yet only helped to serve God's will salvation came to man" which I think is one of the most powerful parts of the poem because it sums everything up that took place in the poem as it is saying that even though Satan had a plan to stop Him as a baby from saving mankind, his deceptive plot only enhanced the will of God to give us salvation through Him being the Only Savior.

In my opinion, I don't believe there's a need for revision here but there are a few minor things that I think can be changed to help your poem stand out more: 1. I see the title "He donned" in big bold letters above the picture and I see it again right at the very beginning of the lines of the poem so I don't know if you meant to list the title again to read as part of the poem but if you didn't mean to maybe removing it will be a good idea so it won't get mistaken as part of the story

2. I had to look up what the word donned meant so maybe making a small list of side notes of what it means and other words like frankincense and myrrh are may help make it easier for readers like me to be able to summarize the text of the poem completely

3: I love that the color of the words are white in the poem as it stands out in the black background but I think the font itself needs to be resized to a bigger one because it was a little hard to read.

Overall, beautiful job in explaining how Christ put on humility for mankind!

A beautiful Christmas poem covering the span of human existence from the Fall to when he conquers death and fulfils the plan for which He humbly came - man's salvation. I very much enjoyed this one.
