Excellent

There are some inconveniences concerning getting old, but I do like being retired. I like the idea of waking up in the morning and thinking about what I'm going to do that day. This is a very nice one line poem. I wish you well in a contest.

I really like this poem! It's simple and profound. I've docked a point as this is technically two lines, as you've got a very clear line break in the poem (remember one line is not the same as one sentence; you can have a line with multiple sentences, or one sentence stretched across multiple lines). Monostitch is evidently quite a tricky form! But form aside, this is a lovely little piece of writing.
