Thank you Carol for several hours of riveting entertainment. I've enjoyed every chapter and marveled at your creativity and imagination. As we read the drama your characters experienced, we would never have guessed you were experiencing your own personal drama. You kept writing and gave us a chance to escape our personal drama. For this, I thank you.

It's great to learn that there was a happy ending hidden in between all that roller coaster of action that you put us through. I enjoyed every minute, and like with all your stories, I'm always a little sad when they end. Thanks for sharing.

Great job with this big project, Carol! And you wrapped things up and even showed us a great "retirement" with a bright future of a baby coming. Glad that they put Paulie Welcher away. Hope Jaz will keep in touch with Allie now.

Thanks so much for all your kindness and for following the story. I told myself I was glad to write the end, but I already miss my characters and friends. LOL

A great tying of the ends of a terrific book. Great writing throughout. You held our interest all the way, and left us standing on the cliff so many times. I hope you're able to relax and enjoy the holidays. Prayers for a blessed Christmas. Carol

Thank you so much, Carol. You have been so kind. I thank you for all the blessings, friendship, and stars. It was a darker story than I intended, but I tried to leave us with a happy feeling in the end.

Have a wonderful holiday. God bless. Hugs, Carol

We all love a happy ending. And you've left yourself with another book opportunity with Garth and Allie's relationship blooming.

Ah, well that is a lovely ending! Vito is dead, Welcher taken in. What happened to Charles? Now they can all relax and enjoy their lives. What a trauma for all! Very well written, you kept my interest throughout, left us with cliffhangers all the way through, and sometimes kept me up late to read the next chapter. Congratulations on finishing another book!

Charles is lying in the pit with furniture on top of him.... I'm sure by now someone must be digging him out.

I so appreciate your constant support and the reviews.
It's been a difficult time, and I pray I did justice to the story and the reader. I miss giving life to my characters each day, but I think we all deserve a rest..... until another story comes to mind.

Wishing you the best of holidays and a very blessed New Year.... We all deserve to see a rosy sun on our horizon and know that it's time for a new beginning,

    Smiles and hugs, Carol

I pray for you frequently, and hope that Christmas won't be too difficult, as you navigate family gatherings. Not everyone has a happy time at Christmas. We had a dreadful family gathering a few years ago, and it has taken years for healing to occur. We are getting there, and God has been working in the hearts of the culprits to an amazing degree, so hoping and praying for this year's celebration!
Wishing you a meaningful and blessed time as you think about the real meaning and magnificence of what He did for us, and draw close to Him. Sending hugs.

I am trying to think on the positive side and remember what the season is truly about. I want to think of our tomorrows as rosy sunrises and new beginnings but Kaitlyn and Corrie see it so differently than I.

Take care, Wendy. I pray you are blessed. Carol

Wonderful wrap-up. Ingenious set-up to nail Paul Welcher. Stunning revelation that Marian and Max have been secretly married. If she's young enough to have a baby, how could she have impersonated a demented old woman?

I guess since I referred to Sam and Max and everyone growing up together it would indicate she wasn't old.... anyone can have mental illness and be demented. Thanks for pointing it out and as I polish and fix things from start to finish, I'll keep that in mind to make it clearer. Hugs, Carol

True--but the description said she is pretending to have dementia--which implies senility--sugg: change to say pretending to be delusional.

You too Carol. My prayer is these things you?ve suffered are blessings in disguise, and your reward is in the mail.

Kaitlyn is finishing out 2021 in her same usual style but we can pray it's last hurrah and the Lord will bless us with new beginnings in 2022.

Now the whole thing makes so much more sense. I'd forgotten Paulie was a Welcher son and the Sherriff, not the father. And no one new that Marian and Max were husband and wife! This is a perfect conclusion to an amazing ride, Carol. Congratulations!

I drop bread crumbs and often they probably need to be a bit less subtle so others catch them as well. I am thankful that you enjoyed the story and stuck with me till the end.

I really think if I?d been reading the whole novel at once, without also reading pieces of other novels at the same time, it would have been clearer.

Thanks... I agree it is difficult when you get involved in so many stories at one time.

I loved the ending. Everybody is with who they should be with and even a new baby on the way. Now, what do you have in store next for Garth???? LOL

Marian smiled, "I've decided it's time to retire. (period after 'smiled')

Garth sighed, "If that's wedded bliss, maybe I might--"
(period after 'sighed')

Allie laughed, "Shut up and kiss me." (period after 'laughed')

I told myself I was taking a break, but thoughts have been whirling through my mind already today. I think our Cowboy might find himself on a wild ride and a terrifying one for all. Not sure but even a few "spirits" have knocked on my door and wanted to join. LOL One never knows, including me, until it actually hits the page.

Thank you.... My mind is suppose to be shutting down for a rest, but this afternoon my muse was whispering some ideas in my ear. Something about our Cowboy in a dark spot and "spirits" in the vineyard. One never knows. LOL
