Boy that looks good. Your picture has me drooling for a taste. Your poem has all the elements needed for the contest. Together they make a perfect presentation. I wouldn't change a thing.

Excellent entry for the 5-7-5 Christmas poetry contest. Good syllables count and connection between lines. Nice presentation and imagery. Good luck in the contest. It's my favorite in the contest so far.

I can smell the brew now. Just the thought brings warmth to these chilly days ahead. I say ahead as it's around 80 down here in Texas. But, I'll take warmth over freezing cold any day. Your poem is like a warm blanket, soothing to heart, soul and body. Merry Christmas and Cheers, Loren

You have created a lovely poem that brings forth the feel of Christmas. "Christmas in a cup" is a perfect last line that sums up the first two. Excellent holiday poem for the Christmas season.

Thanks for providing the recipe... I was already wanting to taste it as soon as I saw it described as "Christmas in a cup". Nice alliteration in 'warmth of wassail'.
