I've never heard of either of those Italian(?) items, but the finished product looks really good. The Haiku, itself, makes my mouth water. I must have my wife watch the video.

    I was hoping to make mouths water.. it s very easy to make ..only three ingredients.

    If you do buy a panettone it s worth spending a few dollars more to avoid the cheap ones. ( wink)

    I warm mine slices up.

The word 'zabaglione' speaks to me of its Italian origins and sounds exotic as I live far away... then I see that it is marsala custard in the video and I just know that it must be delicious, especially on that candied fruit bread. Taste of paradise indeed!

    Good thing we indulge in certain pleasures only once a year. .. or at least I do .. so many calories

    zabaglione and panettone strictly a Christmas treat ..
