Ah-h-h. The dreaded fruit cake. lol I remember my great Aunt Alice always brought her own homemade fruit cake every year for Christmas dinner. Nobody in the family liked fruit cake but strangely, at the end of the day, it was all gone. I think it had a lot to do with the fact that the cake had been drenched in rum and sat for a couple of days completely saturated in that ugly round tin she always used. This was funny and brought back some good memories. Good luck at the polls!

Lol. Thank you for the great review, Lynda. I actually think it was one of my aunts that always brought it too. Lol. I'm glad you liked this silliness. Have yourself a wonderful Christmas.

Very funny to give a sibling a "gift" that is bad haha. They are always so interested in what it may be and think, for just a moment, it may be something nice. Boom, fruit cake.

She'll be expecting it each year and will have found uses for it, such as a door stop to keep you out, you rotten brother. Although it is probably a family joke by now that your baking never improves.

I liked the poem - it was nasty instead of the usual mush... but don't give me any cake please.
