I really enjoyed this one too (I read Robyn's this morning), and maybe it will start a new trend. It's fun. I can see why you are attached to your pens - they are just waiting to record some wonderful thoughts and ideas. Nicely done.

Wendy, you should write one of these! You are so creative and could come up with something great! Yes...you got it...they are waiting for me, my partners in writing, to put down ideas! Well said.

Lol, I'm not one for silly and happy, as you have probably figured out, but I do like it when others like yourself write this type of poem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I get it. I like to read stuff that I don't necessarily like to write!
Have a good and silly evening!

I loved your poem and don't feel bad that you love your pens and writing. I fell in love with the smell on new paper when I was a small child and still do. Don't let me near a stationery shop...I love them!!! Thanks for sharing Franky

Oh yes, new paper! I get that! When I was little I loved the smell of a new plastic baby doll, lol. It was probably not a great chemical to smell. I am thinking of buying an antique stationary box. I see them in movies and antiques stores and wonder if I set one up, if I would be inspired to write about times past:) I guess I would have to get an old pen too...Hmmm...
Anyhow, thanks for stopping by to read! Let me know if you write a poem like mine about paper! I would love to read it!

Hi Tina Thanks for sharing your plans and inspirations. Wonderful! keep on wrting. I've written a couple of short stories on the good old days and growing up as a child in the 1950s but nothing specifically on paper as yet. Maybe soon... x

I would be very interested to read stories that draw from the fifties! Let me know if you do write them!

Are these pens what you write with. They are like a friend. I heard a sung one time and it said l held the pencil and He wrote this song for l can do nothing along. You reminded me of that sung. Good luck

That sounds like an amazing song! We can do nothing alone, for sure. I appreciate you stopping by and for telling me about that song!

Haha, I enjoyed your fun poem, Tina. Your words are well chosen, there's smooth flow, and the rhymes are good. The repeated line fits in nicely. I believe even the smallest of things is something we should be thankful for everyday. Your may be on the funny side, but there is truth to it.
Respectfully, Jan

Thank you, Jan! I really do love pens and notebooks and have to restrain myself from buying more than I need. I'm thankful God allows these little joys:)
    I appreciate your review:)

I thought that form looked familiar. You have done a very good job here, Tina. Hopefully, you will stay with the pens and not have to deal with the Depends.

Hopefully! I am not ready for Depends but someday I may be thankful for them:). You made me laugh. I showed my hubby. Long day. I needed this laugh!

That's sweet! I am guessing you do more with your pens than just write stories and poems. You must also draw and illustrate Bible verses with them, too. Praise God for all the media He gave us to create with!
