When I attended school in my early days, one had pens that needed dipping in ink wells, and we weren't allowed to use ball point pen, apparently they were invented in 1888 by a Mr Loud. But marking instruments have around for thousands of years, the ultimate was the fountain pen, which can cost a "pretty penny", beautifully written Tina, Blessings Roy

Thank you, Roy, for the story and review! I have thought about getting a fountain pen and an old stationary box for inspiration. I see them at antique stores quite often. Have a wonderful day!

I have numerous pencils. Way more than a normal person should have. I do understand the pen issue. Thank you for sharing this adorable poem with us. This is really cute.

Tina,
I wish you lived closer - I bet we'd have a blast! hahahaha This poem was a lot of fun. I love a good pen, too. It's a THING with me. I'll got through fifty till I find the one I can really use.
Honestly, though, I use pencils most of the time. I have a certain one that I am addicted to!

I use pencils, too! (If they are pretty and sharpen well:)There is an erasable pen...don't groan...I use to hate them too, but this one is awesome! It is the Frixion by Pilot pens. It has a rubber tip that easily erases, truly. It's my favorite. The black ones are best. It is as easy to use as a pencil!
We would definitely have a blast! Where do you live again?
Tina
-
Oh, wow. I may have to check into that. AWESOME.
I'm in North Alabama - you?
-
Southwest Virginia, in Roanoke. Did you get hit by the tornadoes? We are all heartbroken here for the victims' families.
I get my pens at Office Max.They cost more than the norm, but worth it.

We were missed this time. I just ordered some from Amazon!
-
Oh, I am so glad you were missed! ALso glad that you ordered the pens!

We have something in common...though I use my keyboard, of course, there is a glory in having a cup filled with pens. I have had to train my caregivers not to put caps on pens, as it takes time to pry them off if I need one. Clever and humorous...and where is my pen

Haha, Sherry! Your caregivers? Are you limited in some way? I do not use pens with caps, just the clickable ones. I found one that's erasable that writes so well and erases well.
Hope you are having a good day!

I am handicapped, in a wheelchair and disabled...have rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes, heart trouble -had open- heart surgery in 2013 - other than that I am not bad...LOL
-
Sherry! I didn't know this:( Well, good for you for using your greatly creative brain! I'm so glad I met such a special person. Much respect to you. I'm sorry for all your health trials. I am disabled too but can walk fine most of the time. I get blood clots and also have severe nerve damage and a degenerating disk. I look totally normal but just hurt a lot, get migraines from misaligned back and neck. Nothing near as bad as what you deal with!!
You will walk in heaven just fine:):)

Everyone's trials are equal, honey...it is just a matter of what they are and how we face them. I had one migraine ever - on my honeymoon with my abuser...but I think that was God warning me about my foolish choice.
-
Yeah...that would certainly bring on a migraine! Too bad abusers didn't get the migraine! God does warn us. I should have heeded HIs warnings about my abuser...just mental abuse, but scary enough. God is so good to get us through!
-
Oh, Tina - honey mental abuse is worse to me...bless you, and may your days be good from here on out!!

Sally, I love that you are so encouraging to me and others. We have it easy, so it would be easy to take it for granted. Thank you for reminding me of the miracle of being able to unleash a passion the Lord gives us all. Your attitude and TALENT are so motivating, even if you never said a word of encouragement.
Love ya!
