I think God loves it when we're thankful for the little things in life. I say thanks a lot about such little things because they are important to me, and I want Him to know it. It's not a silly poem at all.

I appreciate your thought that little things that we are grateful for are not silly at all. I think you're right. We need to be grateful for everything don't we?
    Have a great day!

And I love your poem of thankfulness. The Bible tells us to give thanks in everything, and I too am glad for the pens - the tools that we have to be able to write down our thoughts and inspirations.

A true writer, illustrating compassion for things cherished forming their happiness, finding myself no faults in these conveyances: being a lover of pens myself. A creative read in my opinion.

Tina,
This is a cute poem about the love of writing. It is a round about way to thank God for your ability to write. I write in pencil so it is easier to edit.
It is great to be inspired by another writer on the site.
Keep writing and stay healthy
Merry Christmas
Joan

Thank you, Joan for your time and review. I use erasable pens. I found some that work great! Frixion pens in black. I use pencils too, bit they have to be pretty ones, lol!
    Merry Christmas! It's getting close:)

    You?re welcome, Tina
I have tried using erasable pens but they always leave a shadow of what was written before editing.

I know what you mean about erasable pens. They we're such a gimmick. The Frixion pens are different. They have a rubber tip that erases well! You should try them.

This was a fun and entertaining read, with a lot of truth. Too often we fail to appreciate what blessings we have in life, especially the small everyday things we take for granted. Have a blessed day.

Best wishes,
Rita

Small things are like sprinkles in life. They just add a little extra joy! It's so easy to take things for granted. I try hard not to but I fail often, lol.
    Merry Christmas 🎄

All too often we as a people fail to be as thankful for the wonderful things we have. I enjoy my life and am thankful that God has given me 83.5 years of life.

I have always learnt to be grateful for the little things in life. It is not good to want too much and to be greedy. You seem to have the same outlook on life - a good thing.

Thanks for the compliment. I DO have to restrain myself in Wal Mart or office stores! New notebooks and fresh pens...oh my!

I agree with you! It is so reassuring to know there is a collection of pens at the ready. God's love is great, all encompassing, but it is also the little things that we marvel at, such as a functioning pen.

Yes, you get it! We are supposed to be as little children to enter heaven, right? :) They do make me happy! I have my favorite pens and even have refills for them. Ha!
