This really captures this time of year. It gets dark faster and the birds don't sing quite as often. My favorite line is "shoppers click like robots." I like this line because I feel like we are so conditioned to go shopping and get a gift on Christmas that we never stop to think how instinctual it is.

This is what I dislike about winter most and that is that I am robbed of daylight and my day ends too soon! In the summer I would go for a late afternoon walk, but not now as it's in the dark! You managed to bring some positive words to the darkness descending here, a joy to read, love Dolly x
