Perhaps I will hire a hitman...you got me at 5:00 am, before my oatmeal...ugghh - I don't eat chocolate cake...am diabetic, but that yummy picture about did me in...luckily I at once read the story and that cured the cravings. Maybe you should start a Poop Diet and get rich. This fiction is a dandy entry and I wish you luck.

Oh no! I wrote the disclaimer with you specifically in mind after your previous comment, worried I would ruin someone's choice of evening entertainment. Now that you mention it, I remember a picture at a friend's house of their one-year-old eating chocolate cake, covered with it, while wearing a diaper, and how vile it looked. I will have to add ask him. Thanks for your kind review. I do not have a sequel planned, but who knows what 2024 will bring.

I'm guessing the overarching moral of this dual piece is to hold your nose and choke it down. Wry humor in the punchline. An ironic entry for the "family story" contest!

That certainly could be the moral of the story, depending on who you ask ; )
I have been blocked already by the person who created this contest, so I do not have much to lose here lol. Thank you for your kind review!

I figure you knew you had no chance in the contest!

If I wanted to win contests I would be trying to write very different things probably. When I place well (rarely) it is a surprise to me. I guess at some point I will just need to stop writing so that people cannot predict what I will write next. But that would be a bit of a copout, wouldn't it

I'm curious to see what others will make of your piece--so far, I'm the only reviewer.

They will be much happier when I start posting my writing about Kamala Harris
