Got every reference except this -"at apertures agape" - curious to hear an explanation - (I'm familiar with the concept of agape, but do not understand the meaning in context with the preceding word)

Ah, the apertures I was thinking of were the ears or mouth -- perhaps people being slack-jawed at the stupidity on display. It gets tricky to use simpler words when they all have to start with the same letter! Thanks Hesed for the great review!

Thank you Rosemary. There is absolutely nothing wrong with being old-fashioned, and you know the audience on FanStory much better than I do. This is just a commentary on the way things are sometimes reviewed, moderated and judged. I think we have a natural tendency to be kind towards the things we are comfortable with, and fight change; over time even the most radical revolutionaries tend to become overlords.

Re: word choice -- I had to do a bit of word research myself for this so please don?t feel intimidated! It would have been almost impossible to make this work without those words. Perhaps it would be helpful if I added explanations/definitions in the notes?
