This is precious in word and deed. Your mom was apparently talented. I did not realize the scene was knitted until I read the author's notes. Your poem is crafted with love and gratefulness and is a perfect specimen for Christmas.
No thought of rest could cool the coal that burnt so deep within her soul....my favorite part. This could relate to family love, drive or our love for the Lord. I love how you always turn all poems to the tune of, God is great. Your light shines brightly and I am sure your mom is proud of you.

What a cherished heirloom this must be. Such grand memories and stories to tell every time it is set out.

What I liked about this is that it reminded me of my mother, and all the work she put in to make the Christmas we enjoyed as kids. Wrapping all those presents, setting up the manger scene, putting out her angel collection. My mother liked angels, and at the end she had a collection of over fifty of them. estory
