Hello!
I enjoyed your poem, but at the mention of the lion, I thought 'LIon of Israel's - Jesus. lol. I was trying to catch the connection and was in the wrong species.
I do believe that God gives us strength and expects us to do our part in His plan, but I also know for a fact that He helps those who are helpless. Some of my greatest spiritual moments were some of my most devastating life events.
I enjoyed the poem, even though I blew it on the interpretation!
Blessings and best,
Deb

I wish I still had a six star to give you for this Faith poetry contest entry. It had everything in it I look for in a poem. It rhymes, makes sense, is spiritual, and it touches the reader emotionally. Very nice job. Good luck in the contest.

Lessons learned from a lion. Well written poem. I like the lion reference and I like the artwork you selected. The picture goes well with your poem. I also like the reference that we sow what we reap. Well done

When we write about faith, we will talk about God; they go hand in hand. Putting faith in God would mean we believe that even though things look tangled up, God is able to untangle them. When tragic things happen, putting faith in God means we believe, no matter how bad things look, that God will work them together for good. ( Romans 8:28) When God says he will work all things for good, there is no exception.
