Snow Crowns
A 2-5-2 of beautiful trees in winter.12 total reviews

I love the personification in your poem which immediately forms the impression (supported by the lovely photo) of trees paying homage to Heavenly Father. Although crowned themselves, by winter snow, they still bow to our Lord on high.

Dear Mystery Writer,
THANK YOU!
I have been reading diligently through the list of entries for this contest. I was beginning to believe I might have to skip voting entirely! Wow.
I love all the creativity, sure - and some are truly unique, too. But for a poem this small that actually SAYS SOMETHING? That seems to be a lot to ask. *smile* Thanks so much for putting this beautiful praise piece out there.
Obviously, to this moment, you have my vote - there are just a couple more to read. Thanks and good luck!

This 2-5-2, Snow Crowns, has the right set up and capture the scene with a fanciful projection of deference to seniority in the forest order. Nice. .......................

Great imagery captured in a few short lines - trees bowing in deference - with a little bit of help from the heavy wind and snow. Should do well in the contest.

Quite a spiritual journey for this contest post and compacted into just a few words! Your selected illustration is a good match to your few words.
Best wishes in the contest voting. My guess it will receive many reviews and serious consideration.

-Very nice image
and good presentation.
-You wrote a good
poem to go with it.
-The syllable count is
good, along with the topic.
-Effective imagery describes
the branches and relates to
the rest of your poem with
a positive message.
-Good luck in the contest.

What a beautiful poem and picture. I love the way the snow sets on the trees, I just don't like the snow itself. Pretty stupid of me to live in the north country, but it's not always winter here- just for six months. Well done.
Blessings

" Snow-crowned --
branches bow to His
Highness"
Your words accurately describe the picture you have chosen of a snow-covered world. Beautiful, but best viewed from inside.
