As an organ donor, I want to like this poem. I think the message is truly important. Sadly, you got caught up in the issue of equivalence between price and value, when of course the whole donor system is intended to remove that equivalence and to select recipients based on medical criteria such as immediacy of need, likelihood of survival, etc. Please, continue looking for ways to get the message more broadly disseminated; organ donation makes a difference beyond price or words.

I can respect your being an organ donor but that doesn't mean a donated like my son.
And you seem confused about exactly what goes on when I'm in a representative of the one in Philadelphia for 15 years.
I'm a human organ donor in two states and in six hospitals.
I have a healthy body at 67 and viable kidneys.
I've written on this subject several hundred times in the past 15 years.
Of course every reviewer is welcome to their comments and every writer is also welcome to disagree.
This is one of the more touching pieces about the subject with a comparison between the silliness to the extreme and you obviously did not understand.
