I like this lighthearted poem. It is simple but has a touch of profoundness to it to last longer than the read itself. The picture used plays on the words nicely. Good job with this entertaining piece.

This one looks a bit cold-hearted to me. the straw is sticking up vertically in the grip of the ice. no wonder the lips found another warmer-hearted cup of joy.

Bill, This is a short but, highly metaphoric free verse.
Yes, sometimes things that shouldn't be alluring are. This should be found and thrown away. So no more souls can be sucked,
