This is an exceptionally clever play on words, and conjures some pretty weird imagery. This kind of humor is a good fit for the short poetry format and a welcome relief from some of the staler fare that amount to adages or tributes to flowers. Great job!

Seriously, I love the humor in this poem (LOL). Love the idea of fireflies mating with houseflies causing house fires.
