It's true that you can be feeling down and the phone rings and it's your best friend in the whole world calling just to say hello. It raises your spirits right away. You captured a warm fuzzy feeling that one gets when you know someone cares. Good luck with the contest.

Your descriptive line says it all. There was no greater comfort last year during Lock-down than a call from a friend. Even now that is true. Your point is dry well conveyed in only fourteen syllables. Rod
